A father-and-son inspection team serving Brazoria County and the Texas Gulf Coast since 1986 — TREC Licensed, family-owned, and grounded in nearly four decades of hands-on construction and inspection experience.
Kenny Boulton is the founder and lead inspector of Texas Inspection. Since 1986, Kenny has been inspecting properties across Lake Jackson, Brazoria County, and the Texas Gulf Coast — bringing nearly four decades of hands-on construction, commercial, and industrial experience to every report he delivers.
Kenny grew up in the resort construction business under his dad's guidance. By age 16, he was running construction crews in the summers while still in high school. By age 20, he was designing and building entire homes — handling all the interior and exterior finish work, custom cabinets, faux finishes, electrical, and plumbing himself. That hands-on construction background is the foundation of how he inspects properties today.
Beyond residential building, Kenny's career has included bulkheads, piers, septic systems, site prep, foundations for industrial press shops, commercial office atriums, and warehouses. In 1986, he ran an oil field drill pipe maintenance company — and in that same year, he started Texas Inspection. He's been doing it ever since.
What that depth of experience gives Kenny's clients is simple: an inspector who's actually built what he's looking at. Kenny has framed it, plumbed it, wired it, finished it, and seen what fails over time. When he flags an issue in a report, you can trust it's based on knowing how the system was supposed to be installed in the first place.
Kadin Boulton, Kenny's son, works alongside his father as a TREC Licensed Apprentice Inspector (#26774). Kadin is being trained in the same hands-on, construction-grounded inspection methodology that has defined Texas Inspection since 1986. Together, Kenny and Kadin keep Texas Inspection a true family-run operation — built on the same values, standards, and personal client care that have served Brazoria County for nearly four decades.
When you hire Texas Inspection, you're hiring a family business — not a franchise, not a corporate inspection mill. You're hiring two TREC Licensed inspectors who treat every property like it was their own family's home.
Texas Inspection was founded in 1986 on a simple promise: deliver every client a clear, detailed, honest report they can act on with confidence. Nearly four decades later, that promise hasn't changed — and now it's being carried into the next generation.
For most families, buying a home is one of the biggest financial decisions they'll ever make. Whether it's a first home in Lake Jackson, a coastal property in Surfside, a commercial building in Pearland, or a new build in Angleton, every Texas Inspection client deserves the same thing: an inspector who shows up, takes the time to do it right, explains what he finds in plain language, and stands behind every word in the report.
